Privacy policy
Last updated 23 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Telekaller collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers two groups of people: the companies that use Telekaller One API (partners) and the people their telecallers speak to (end users). Where a partner's product places calls through us, the partner decides why the call is made and we process the data on their instructions.
Who we are
Telekaller is based in India. For anything in this policy, write to berryallentelekaller@gmail.com.
What we collect from partners
- Account details: name, work email, company, product URL, and the message you send us on WhatsApp when you request access.
- Billing details: company name, tax identifiers, invoices and payment records. Card details are held by our payment provider, not by us.
- Usage: API requests, call metadata (time, duration, number series, purpose, outcome), error logs and the settings you configure for each tenant.
- Support: emails and call notes when you contact us.
What we process for end users
When a partner's telecaller places or answers a call, we process the phone number, the audio of the call, a transcript, the structured result the partner asked for, and a compliance record (purpose, consent reference, DND scrub result, disclosure played). We process this as the partner's processor under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The partner is the data fiduciary and decides how long it is kept.
Why we process it
- To place and answer calls and return results to the partner's product.
- To enforce the compliance rules described on our website: registration per business, purpose on every call, DND scrubbing, consent references, calling windows and opt-out.
- To meter usage and bill partners.
- To keep the service secure and to investigate abuse or complaints from operators and regulators.
- To answer support requests and tell partners about changes to the service.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not contact or market to a partner's customers. The partner agreement forbids it.
- We do not train speech or language models on a partner's call audio or transcripts.
Where data lives
Call media and transcripts are stored in India. Some suppliers we rely on (speech recognition, language models, voice synthesis, hosting, email, payments) may process data in other countries under contracts that require the same protections as this policy. A current list of suppliers is available on request.
How long we keep it
Partners set retention for call audio and transcripts per tenant, and can delete them through the API at any time. Compliance records are kept for as long as Indian telecom rules require, so that complaints can be investigated. Account and billing records are kept for as long as the account is open and for the period tax law requires afterwards.
Your rights
If you are an end user, contact the business that called you first; they control the data. If they cannot help, write to us and we will pass the request on and assist. If you are a partner, you can access, correct, export or delete your account data by writing to us. Under the DPDP Act you can also nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf and raise a grievance with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our answer.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising cookies. We use privacy-respecting page analytics that do not identify individuals. The early access form does not store anything on this site. It opens WhatsApp with the details you typed, and the conversation continues there under WhatsApp's own terms.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each tenant is isolated with its own keys. Access inside Telekaller is limited to the people who need it to run the service, and every access is logged. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority within the time the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will email partners and update the date at the top of this page.
